tryslora @ 08:16 am: I'm almost done with my 2009 music mix. These are the songs that somehow impacted me this year, whether they were released this year or took on new significance. Many of them were on gaming soundtracks for heart characters and may not mean anything to anyone but me. But every single one of them is something that I felt needed to be on the mix that talks about my year. I'd been waiting for the new We the Kings CD to come out before I finalized it, and then last night I had another inspiration that helped me figure out what else needed to be there. Now if I can only remember the very last song that my brain supplied this morning when I was barely awake, all I'll need to do is set the order and I'll be done.

That said, if anybody would like to receive a copy of this CD in the mail, please leave your address in the (screened!) comments below, or drop a comment here and send me an email (tryslora on gmail, of course) with your address. But commenting here is critical because otherwise I'll lose track of who I need to send to!

The only catch? Promise me to just once, at LEAST once, listen to it all the way through without looking at who the songs are by. Close your eyes and enjoy the music, then go back and judge by the artist. After the CDs are sent, I will get around to writing something up with the song lists and some attempt at explaining WHY each one hit the list.
